A poetry that always hurts…

A poetry that always hurts…

When I say,

she has her view and it is a curse

She looks into my view

I knew she won’t reach my way

Some of it may a litl’ or few

A poetry that always hurts…

Living alone was not an act

I was told to do

So I am all packed

Its a poetry that is still hurting

As I always try not to unfold

But to keep mum

Now is bit cheezy and old

I am man of the today and I have dreams…

I have my wings to fly high

And my target is the star not the sky….

Should I continue this poetry that hurts

My feeling towards it is dead …

and is burnt

On the LOVER"S DAY?

As the countdown begin.....

And a festival of love birds across the world is comming,it gives an immense hapiness that irrespective of the nation, caste, religion or creed. Love birds across the nation await this event desperately throughout the year for this day to express their feelings.

As we move towards the history,Valentine, a Christian priest, had been thrown in prison for his teachings. On February 14, Valentine was beheaded because he performed a marriages in secret for those who were in love as love marriages were not favoured that time. In jail, he miraclly cured the jailer's daughter of her blindness. The night before he was executed, he wrote the jailer's daughter a farewell letter, signing it "From Your Valentine."

One of the earliest popular symbols of the Valentine's day is Cupid, the Roman god of love, who is represented by the image of a young boy with bow and arrow and red roses is his favourite flower which is gifted on the day.

Before moving to more onto this topic, I think we must look into one more contributor of this day, he was an Italian bishop who lived at about the same time, AD 200. He was imprisoned because he secretly married couples, contrary to the laws of the Roman emperor. Some legends say he was burned at the stake.

Well! Throughout the ages, people also believed that birds picked their mates on February 14 this might seems to be a lil silly or may be a mythbut is mentioned at most of the places where Valetine day is discussed.

To one of the most important contributor in the 21st century and is still doing so is the one of the leading card gallery chains all over the world, ARCHIES and HALLMARK, seen as the emperor of this indusrty with their acclaimed percentage of 80-90% in the business. Apart from their business roll, the first greeting card, was a handmade valentines, appeared to be in the 16th century. As early as 1800, companies began mass-producing cards. Initially these cards were hand-colored by factory workers.
